Pitmen Prosper In Extra Time To Win Goal Glut
Hednesford Town scored two goals in extra time to secure their passage into the next round of the Red Insure Cup.
Mark Bellingham opened the scoring for Leamington in first half stoppage time with a close range header. Debutant Luke Chapman slammed in the equaliser for The Pitmen after the break and Tyrone Barnett added a second with a calm finish on the hour mark.
Mark Bellingham equalised with nine minutes to go after a goal mouth scramble but goals from Dyer and Durrell in extra time secured the win despite a late Luke Corbett penalty for the visitors.
