Belles lift Brownhills Super 7's TrophyHednesford Town Girls sponsored by Your Self Store added the Brownhills Super 7's trophy to their cabinet for there 2nd titlie in as many weeks. Eve Hilditch deputised in goal and did a fantastic job as they went through the entire tournament without conceding a goal.
Hednesford totally dominated the game playing some scintillating football to win 7-0 with Naomi (5) & Ria (2) sharing the goals. This set up a final against Lichfield Diamonds A who had narrowly seen off Hednesford Town Belles in the other semi.
The final was a closely contested affair with Hednesford on the front foot throughout but some excellent defending & goalkeeping kept them at bay, midway through the 2nd half Naomi Aston's shot proved too hot for the keeper to handle as the ball squirmed over the line before being grabbed back, this was in vain however as Hednesford comfortably saw out the remaining minutes to claim their latest crown.
