Hednesford Town returned to action after an extended break and despite dominating throughout credit should also go to Penkridge whose determined defending thwarted Hednesford until they finally found a way through in the 17th minute when opposition player of the match Naomi Aston fired home from close range after good work from Gemma Bailey.
The second half was much better with Town's slick passing opening up the juniors defence at will and managers man of the match Eve Hilditch extended the lead. Molly Jowett was flattened in the area but to everyone's amazement no penalty was awarded, but this was soon forgotten as she tapped in from close range after good work by Aston. Hollie Nelson soon saved brilliantly at her near post following a Penkridge free kick for her own real action of the game. Aston completed the scoring with her hattrick goal near the end and she should of had four as she rolled her easiest chance of the lot agonisingly wide .
